Special Summer Edition

Do you feel like Washington’s new policies threaten the American ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Are you so fed up with the unprecedented expansion of government that you’ve decided to attend a Tea Party on July 4th?

Then we have some great content for you! Come take a fresh look at the problems facing America today in the special summer edition of The Undercurrent. This edition is complete with compelling, relevant articles that reveal the ideological causes of our nation’s current financial crisis as well as offer real solutions.

We also have some flyers that not only detail what caused the financial crisis, but also explain why the government’s response is morally and practically bankrupt. These flyers are available on our participate page.

If attending a Tea Party isn’t feasible but you’d still like to make a difference, there are plenty of places to distribute The Undercurrent. Leave stacks of the papers anywhere people congregate-like gyms, coffee shops, student centers, or libraries.

Objectivism

The Undercurrent's cultural commentary is based on Ayn Rand's philosophy, Objectivism. Objectivism, which animates Ayn Rand's fiction, is a systematic philosophy of life. It holds that the universe is orderly and comprehensible, that man survives by reason, that his life and happiness comprise his highest moral purpose, and that he flourishes only in a society that protects his individual rights.
