What is TU’s special summer “Tea Party issue”?

Pick up Copies of the Undercurrent at OCON

One of the most exciting July 4th Tea Parties across the country is likely to be in Boston, the famous site of the original Boston Tea Party—and also the site of this year’s Objectivist Summer Conference. Those attending the conference can pick up pre-ordered copies of the “Tea Party Issue” at TU’s information table on site. To ensure you receive this exciting special summer edition, order your copies soon.

Why distribute TU’s “Tea Party Issue”?

Many individuals attending Tea Parties are deeply troubled by the current financial crisis, but have yet to hear a solid, rational explanation for our nation’s afflictions—including the underlying moral issue of egoism vs. altruism.

By distributing the summer edition of TU, you can give Tea Party attendees access to a rational perspective on America’s financial woes and introduce them to the profound explanatory power of Objectivism. And you can do so through the effective combination of face-to-face contact and take home literature.

Be an activist for the ideals you’ll be studying at OCON. Remember that it only takes a few moments to pick up your papers at the conference and travel to the July 4th Boston Tea Party!

Where will the Boston Tea Party be located?

This Tea Party will be held near the site of the original Boston Tea Parties at the Christopher Columbus Park. This is only 1.1 miles from the Seaport Hotel, the host venue for the Objectivist Summer Conference. Walking to the event through downtown Boston should take approximately 20 minutes, while driving takes only 4 minutes from the Seaport Hotel.

Since the Boston Tea Party lasts from noon to 8 PM, there are plenty of opportunities to visit Christopher Columbus Park to hear speakers and live music, or to distribute papers. There’s ample time in the OCON 09 Schedule to attend this Tea Party and spread rational rhetoric to sympathetic listeners!

Ordering Information

The summer edition of The Undercurrent will ship around June 20th, which means you will receive the papers at the end of June. If you would like to pick up your copies of this edition at OCON 09, please email us at contact@the-undercurrent.comafter placing your order to indicate your preference.

Copies of The Undercurrent will be available for pick-up at our table throughout the convention. Someone will be available to assist you at this table, located in the Waterfront Ballroom on the Harbor level of the Seaport World Trade Center, between 9AM-5PM every day.
